A two-day creative workshop exploring the remarkable capacity of the human spirit to transcend adversity and embrace compassion for a richer life. Day One: What Does Hope Look Like? A potentially transformational process to provide powerful resources for managing current and future challenges (Also available as a one-day workshop). Participants will: Hear about Universal Survivors and explore their own resources for triumphing over adversity. Learn about "The Accept Perspective" model of transformation Discover and create their personal image of hope
Day Two: Words of Compassion A journey to the depths of compassionate consciousness, reinforcing an inner culture of compassion to positively affect the way participants relate and respond in all areas of their lives. Participants will: Explore issues of self-compassion, compassion for others, global compassion and compassion for the Earth. Create a piece of written work capturing what compassion means to them. Note: This is informal, fun, and suitable for people at all levels of literacy. Support and creative strategies are available to overcome any challenges!
Participants will be invited to anonymously and unconditionally share their pieces with others as part of a global resource to inspire empathy and hope.

Two day course: For six to 30 Participants. Participants can be from one organisation only or from multiple organisations. Please email tam@hopeintheheart for costs. Course times:Start 09:30 - Finish 16:30(negotiable) The course is suitable for participants at any level of literacy, and can be adapted to suit specific needs. It has proved effective for a diverse range of groups and individuals, including those with mental health issues, dysleixa and other Specific Learning Differences, PTSD, ME and other physical challenges.
