UNIQUE EXHIBITIONS AND EVENTS: MESSAGES FROM THE HEART Our most exciting and impactful community project so far: Free exhibitions and events featuring art and performance by people with many kinds of lived experience, each telling part of their story with a message for service-providers and others who have the power to affect positive change.
The first - a great success - took place at the beautiful Ocean Studios in Plymouth, with free, associated events including a performance evening and a collaborative day-long workshop with Belong in Plymouth to connect artist-contributors with people in power to explore their common humanity, and the need and potential for positive change.
Following two smaller and equally successful collaborative exhibitions in London for Refugee Week, and a further week-long Plymouth extravaganza, we are now planning further exhibitions and events in London and Plymouth. Visit this page for more information about the project and coming events and this page to see more of the images featured so far. Short videos featuring stories and images by participants can be found here (*scroll down for examples).
Community workshops to generate art for future exhibitions are currently ongoing/intermittent in London and Plymouth. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to express your interest or for further details.
FREE AND SUBSIDISED TRAINING FOR ORGANISATIONS AND SERVICE-PROVIDERS Our in-person training for community groups and other organisations features artwork from the Messages project and highlights the importance of relational practice for a more compassionate and proactive approach to service provision.
