We are very excited that we have secured funding from POP Collectives to extend the Plymouth arm of Messages From The HeART - Hope in the Heart, in collaboration with The Intersection and Real Ideas, brings you Messages from the HeARTlands.
From October 2022, we offer you three smaller (but no less powerful) exhibitions, with associated events, featuring creative expressions by people with lived experience of mental health and associated challenges. The first of these has now taken place at Devonport Guildhall (see photos and details below), and two more will follow in 2023, with free workshops beforehand. Dates to follow as we have them.
As before, each piece contains a message for people in power (service providers, commissioners, local leaders and society in general) and the collective “voices” of the creators combine to highlight what is working and where change is needed. Contact tam@hopeintheheart.org or theintersectioncic@gmail.com with questions or to express interest.
