...it is perhaps the most constructive and focused recovery tool I have come across.....this workshop has reminded me of the enormous, profound effect of creativity and self-expression.

square pegs, round holes

We live in a society in which certain qualities are valued more than others. If you are able to think logically, achieve academically and conform to "the rules", you may fit in. If you think "out of the box", favour more practical or creative pursuits and don't understand or value "the rules", you may feel like an outsider and wonder where you belong.

priceless gifts

Those of us who learn or respond differently from the norm are often told there is "something wrong" with us (Specific Learning Difficulty. Attention Deficit Disorder,
Dys-
lexia, Autism Spectum Disorder). We may internalise this as a feeling that we are of little value in a world we can't relate to.

Learning about neurodiversity, and exploring our unique manifestation, can help us to manage our challenges, harness our strengths, and acknowledge the priceless contributions we make to a world that is enriched by our divergent flair!

 "Getting it"

Until we learn to understand, manage and value our way of being in the world, we may feel stuck in a chaos sometimes bordering on hopelessness. Our lives can be transformed when we realise that we are not weird or broken; that our brains simply work differently from the norm, that what we have to offer is of vast and immeasurable value - and that we are not alone.
