Introducing NEW (Nature, Environment, Wellbeing) Hope 
 
​Free creative, compassion-and-nature-based workshops in London
   
In a world increasingly in need of more compassionate connection, many people are keen to "do something" to better cope with the challenges bombarding us, and somehow be part of the solution, but don't know where to begin. 

Tending to our own wellbeing is an excellent and important first step, and compassionately connecting with nature and the local environment can inspire us to make small, manageable changes that benefit both ourselves and our communities, on our own terms. 
   
     Would you like to:
  • connect with nature and the environment for greater wellbeing?
  • be part of diverse and welcoming community?
  • create and have fun? (No artistic ability required :)
  • Make a difference to your own life, community and wider world, through simple and fulfilling acts of compassion?

Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, new monthly workshops for women in Waltham Forest started in Dec 2025. 
NEW Hope will explore wellbeing through nature and the environment across the seasons. Informal, creative women's workshops are currently taking place at Lea Bridge Library, Leyton, the first Tuesday of every month from 2nd December to 3rd March. New participants are welcome at every workshop, but booking is essential please. Further sessions are planned in Leytonstone from Spring 2026, and can also be offered at no cost to existing groups in Waltham Forest, Redbridge and Newham. 

In a change to our original schedule, regular workshops in Brixton will not be taking place at the current time.
