Below are some of the pieces of art on display in our Messages from the HeART exhibition at the Insider/Outsider Conference organised by Mad Hearts and PsychArt at Queen Mary University, London on 7th June 2024. Some of the messages/narratives that accompany the images, in the artists' own words, are here. The Messages from the HeART project invites people with lived experience of mental health and associated issues to come together in a regular, safe and compassionate workshop space, connect, relax and create art and performance with a message for people in power.
